I'll be a guest on a Blog Talk Radio show, 6/25

Grant Lawrence and Judy Lopez, hosts of Dream Catcher Entertainment on Blog Talk radio, have invited me to be a guest on their radio show, Thursday, 6/25, at 8 pm (central time). To access the show, go to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/DreamCatcherEntertainment
Scroll down to upcoming episodes and click on my link.

Judy and Grant have told me that we will be discussing my book and various other topics related to history, politics and American culture. I'm sure we'll touch on CIA atrocities, including the JFK Assassination, along the way.

Tune in and/or call in, and join the conversation.

We'll be on the listen for you, Tim. Back on the subject of baseball briefly, my Twins will be visiting your Cardinals there starting tomorrow. We're terrible on the road, so I'm sure the Cards will take at least 2 out of the 3, if not sweep. We just helped you a bit by beating the pesky Brewers 2 out of 3...

Jack--

Thanks for beating up on the Brewers, but I think you're wrong about this weekend. I think our offense is bogging down again, and the Twins we'll take 2 of 3. The only we have going for us is the damn heat. You won't believe how hot it is here. Heat index of 110 for Saturday's game.

Maurer, Morneau and company will pound Wellemeyer and Wainwright.

Jack--

I meant to say, Twins WILL take 2 of 3.

Tim, I want to see how Pujols feasts on our pitching. I think the WHOOOOSH from several of the home runs he'll hit will provide enough breeze to keep people cooler. I was at a wedding in nearby Springfield, IL a few summers back, so I know how hot and humid it can get by you guys. I also sat in KC at a Twins-Royals game four or five years ago. It was 103 degrees that day, very little breeze, and humid. MISERABLE! The 114 degree L.A. dry desert heat is MUCH easier to take!

Jack--

Well, you saw what happened today. That's the totality of our offense--Pujols. What I do not understand is, WHY do teams keep pitching to him?? He is the only legitimate threat in our lineup, and without him we have little chance of scoring runs. Yet, Gardenhire, like every other manager we've faced (except for Jim Leyland), keeps letting your pitchers throw him hittable pitches. I don't care what the situation is...first and second with two men out; bases empty with one man out; first and third with nobody out...I'm walking Albert intentionally. I've seen enough of him to know that he, singehandedly, can beat you. Unless I had a seven-run lead late in the game, I would never pitch to this guy. Please thank Gardenhire for me. Without Albert's two homers today, we lose 3-1.
